Chain Clasp Repair replacements
Clasp Repair and Replacement: The clasp/fastener of a necklace is very important! It keeps the necklace secure around your neck. Without a functioning clasp you wouldn’t be able to wear your jewellery. To repair this piece, our goldsmiths will determine the best type of clasp. The most common clasps are lobster clasps and bolt ring clasps. these clasps open with a small lever that moves to allow the other end of the necklace through. Because of their fragile construction, it’s common for these to bend or break.
our goldsmiths will simply repair the clasp or replace it and solder it to the rest of the chain. If it’s a gold or silver chain or bracelet, or a anklet, or a necklace, over time the Clasp will fail, we can replace your clasp fastener in any precious metal 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct and Silver, replacement clasps are usually carried out while u wait.

We can restring your pearl or bead necklaces and bracelets, both un- knotted and knotted, using silk thread or stainless steel wire, depending on the item. We can work with any type of fully drilled cultured pearls and faux pearls, plastic fashion beads and precious and semi precious gemstone beads including glass beads.
