Inside a packaging plant, thousands of pouches, cartons, and labels move through the press every hour.


Then a problem appears.

The ink isn't drying fast enough.

Printing and packaging inks are formulated to perform under demanding production conditions. They must transfer cleanly at high speeds, adhere to substrates such as paper, plastic films, and foil, dry or cure within seconds, and remain stable through lamination, sealing, folding, transport, and retail handling.


In modern packaging plants, ink performance is monitored just as closely as the printing equipment itself. Viscosity, drying characteristics, color consistency, and adhesion can directly influence production efficiency, product quality, and material waste.


What's rarely noticed outside the factory is that the printed layer is incredibly thin, yet it carries enormous responsibility. It protects brand identity, enables product information and traceability, supports regulatory labeling, and must remain intact until the package reaches the consumer.


When packaging performs flawlessly, the ink is almost invisible.


When it doesn't, an entire production line can feel the impact within minutes.
